At Every Child Is Special, our academic preschool program is thoughtfully designed to provide a rich educational experience that lays the foundation for future academic success. We focus on building the skills children need for a confident transition into kindergarten — all within a nurturing, community-based environment that enhances early childhood education.
Each classroom is a place where friendships are formed and a sense of security is fostered, helping children feel safe and ready to learn. We recognize that children grow and develop at their own pace, which is why our curriculum is individualized and developmentally appropriate for their unique needs.
Rather than frequently moving children between rooms, we adapt the curriculum within each classroom to meet their changing needs — ensuring consistency, comfort, and continuous growth.
Our preschoolers engage in activities that promote:
- Early literacy and language development
- Number sense and problem-solving
- Social-emotional learning and teamwork
- Creativity through art, music, and imaginative play
- Self-help and independence skills
To ensure each child is truly prepared for the next step, we use comprehensive school readiness programs and assessments throughout the year. These assessments help our educators monitor progress in all areas of development — cognitive, social-emotional, physical, and language — allowing us to tailor our teaching strategies and provide any additional support a child may need.
By understanding each child’s strengths and areas for growth, we can better prepare them for a successful transition to kindergarten and foster a lifelong love of learning.

Full-day preschool classrooms are licensed, year-round school readiness programs. You can drop off and pick up your child anytime between 7:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
